

Breeze trash talks Liger, kneedrop gets another 2. Liger fights back, but Breeze with a knee to the ribs. Front chancery applied, crowd wills on Liger. Breeze stomps away at Liger in the corner, then yells at the ref not to touch him. Liger can’t get up from the Supermodel Kick. Commentary mentions that Breeze is 1-3 at TakeOver events. Breeze slips out of the Liger Bomb, goes after Liger’s mask and hits the Supermodel Kick for 2. Liger has some fun with Breeze’s Selfie Stick, then throws it at him and hits some chops. Monkey Flip by Liger sends Breeze all the way down face-first. Romero Special applied, Breeze doesn’t submit, Liger breaks. Liger avoids a corner charge, soccer kick to the ribs while Breeze was across the ropes. Breeze gets to his feet and stomps his away out. Liger takes Breeze down, Rocking Horse applied into a surfboard variation. Liger with a drop toe hold and an elbow drop to the back, then mocks Breeze by laying on the ropes. Breeze with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle, then lays on the ropes to relax.

We get a NYC summer fashion show for the “Gorgeous” line for our opening match. We see the usual intro, then commentary welcomes us to the show. Lights come on, crowd loudly chants “NXT.” “We are NXT” says Triple H and leaves.
